VAPolyQuad presents itself as an advanced virtual analog polyphonic synthesizer, specifically designed for iPhone, iPad, and Mac users. It boasts an 8-voice synthesizer architecture along with a suite of effects, a sequencer, and audio visualization tools. This versatile application can function as a standalone product or as an AudioUnit Extension (AUv3), providing robust support for Ableton Link, MIDI integration, and audio file export.

The single voice of VAPolyQuad is detailed and comprehensive, featuring four oscillators, dual mixers, and both resonant high pass and low pass filters. The oscillators come with continuously variable waveform options and a variety of modulation capabilities. The filter designs are notably influenced by the Sallen-Key filter circuit and cascaded OTA filter circuit, aiming to reproduce classic analog sound characteristics. Additionally, the effects section includes delay, chorus, flanger, reverb, EQ, and compression capabilities. The integrated sequencer offers a piano roll and parameter automation editor for programming 16-bar patterns per clip. Notably, projects can be easily saved to iCloud Drive, allowing seamless access across iPhone, iPad, and Mac platforms.
